I also have two development courses this quarter. One of them is "Movement Perspectives in Human Development" and the other is "Human Psychological Development I." Therefore, this has probably influenced my thinking about the development process. It has given me such a huge appreciation for how life develops. I am in awe with life. I have gone from my mother's womb to crawling...to walking...to running...to cooking on a stovetop! How is this not exciting?
Along with all of this development discussion, I had the most amazing conversations with one of the people in my program last night. We talked about our lives' journeys and the places we've been that have ultimately shaped us and brought us to where we are today. It also made me think about the amazing people throughout my life who have joined me on my life's journey whether it was for a long trek or even for a brief moment in time. We are all on separate journeys, some coinciding with others at times, but separate nonetheless. I am thankful to have met many fellow travelers along the way. I am thankful for being able to travel both geographically and even within myself.
Namaste.
