Just for kicks, I'm going to interview myself...here we go!
Interviewer Erica: What are you doing right now?
Erica: Funny you should ask. I'm interviewing myself and listening to LIGHTS. I was also in the process of reading an interview with author John Green, but am currently taking a break for this interview.
IE: Is there anything super exciting on the horizon for you?
E: Gosh, so many things! Life is just a ball of exciting things; some of them I don't even know about yet. I'll be heading off to graduate school soon to study Dance/Movement Therapy. Oh, and graduate school for me will be in Philadelphia, which is crazy to think about. It'll be strange not living in the Midwest for a good two years.
IE: Woah, those are some big changes! How are you handling them?
E: Carefully. *laughs* With a little over a week away, I'm pretty sure that I'm still in denial.
IE: Are you looking forward to the move?
E: You bet I am! But you can also bet that I'm scared and freaking out about it. Plus, I'm going to miss all of my loved ones in the Midwest. Going from Chicagoland to St. Louis was a huge deal for me starting my undergraduate years, so going from St. Louis to Philadelphia is just as big of a deal if not more so.
IE: What do you have to say to those in the Midwest who you are leaving behind?
E: I'm seriously going to miss you guys! I've found so much love and friendship over these past years. I am so thankful for everything. To my family, I should be back to see you guys at least for Christmas, so that will be nice.
IE: Do you have any special plans before you leave?
E: I do! I will be hanging out with some friends tomorrow at Six Flags (hopefully I won't vomit everywhere like I did last time). Note to self: stay away from the rickety old roller coasters that rattle your brain and cause you to barf. Oh, and I can't forget about my lovely plans to go out with friends on Saturday evening as well. I also have a Going Away Gathering planned for next Friday and a Wedding that I will be attending right before I leave.
IE: If you had more time in the Midwest, is there anything that you'd do in particular?
E: Camping! I wanted so badly to go camping this Summer, but that just didn't happen for various reasons.
IE: Have you ever had the experience of interviewing yourself before?
E: Yup!
IE: Is there anything else that you'd like the readers to know?
E: I'm actually surprised that you'd be reading this, but oh well! I hope this interview wasn't too crazy for you. And yes, I will most likely do something like this again. When I don't have anyone else to talk to, why not talk to myself?
